See you soon!   :)

Welcome!

I forgot to add this to the last post!

WELCOME OUR NEW ADVISOR DR. JAMES SAUNDERS!!!

Hi Guys!
What a week, huh?! I hope this is not a prelude to what is to come for this school year….

I wanted to update you guys with what we have in mind for the Forensic Science Club this year! We are finally going to get to order new t-shirts this semester since they FINALLY got approved in the budget. We will also continue our tradition of making the blankets for Johns Hopkins Children Hospital and our CSI Nights, but I will be adding a few twists to them (more details to come). I would also like to host a “Clue” movie night for the school and a Valentine’s Day Lollipop sale.  A few of our other ideas that are still in the works are; Campus Crime Safety Talk, Scavenger Hunt Fundraiser, Self Defense and a Murder Mystery Dinner. Of course we will be participating in the Haunted Hallways (Snack Sales), Relay for Life and NASD like we have in the past few years. If you have any ideas or questions let me know!

If you would like to be removed from the mailing list let me know so I can do so, on the other hand, if you have anyone you think might be interested in joining the club give me their contact info or ask them to email me.

For those that are still interested in the club, send me some times you would be free to attend meetings as soon as you can so we can go ahead and start the year.

See you all soon!  :-D

Murder Mystery Dinner

Don’t forget the Murder Mystery Dinner is tomorrow night at 6 in the Rockland Banquet Hall!  There are a few spots left so if you want to go you can still RSVP,  just email me as soon as you can. It is free and going to be lots of fun!!   Dinner is lasagna.

Hope to see you there!  :)

Spring Semester already!

Who is ready for this semester?!    (I am not…soo many classes, soo little time!)  I would love to get the meetings going as soon as we can, so I can get ideas brewing. Send me your schedules and let me know what time you are free or would like to see a meeting. Do you prefer morning, afternoon, or evening?  Hope the break has treated everyone well, enjoy what little we have left!

Blankets

Hey guys!!

Hope the semester is going great, can you believe we are half way through it already?! Wow!  I wanted to get your opinion of selling the blankets…as of right now we would have to sell them for $32! and that is way too much. I know a student would not buy a blanket for $32. So my question is should we maybe make a few sports team blankets and raffle them off? We could then use the money we make to buy fabric for the blankets we are donating. Let me know if you guys have any other ideas and/or what you think about this.

Thanks!
